HER Eyes burnt with passion, their gaze never leaving his body as they carefully destroyed his utmost strength while she walked steadily towards his direction

He froze on the spot, his mouth losing control of it's power, his tongue craving hers, his eyes betraying the hate he claimed they carried but no, he had to be strong, this woman was part of the Morlina tribe and for generations, this tribe had hunted down his tribe.

Her brother and father had killed thirty-two of his tribe members just two weeks ago, she was the enemy's daughter.

"What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here?"

"I came here to warn you Adama, I don't know whatever business you in with my father or however you are involved with him, but it wouldn't end well, he and Josh are really mad about something you did."

His heart flipped in his chest, she cared.

He studied her eyes for lies, maybe she had been sent here to try and convince him to leave town and not continue with his plan of trying to stop them from their next attack, wherever that was going to happen.

Or maybe to divert his attention from whatever the Morlinas were planning but it wouldn't work, if that was her plan, then she had failed.

If only he could just hypnotize her, make her speak the truth, command her on her knees while she begged for mercy, threaten her with death. If only it were that simple. Curse love.

But he just couldn't bring himself to do it. God he loved her, she destroyed his ability to think whenever she was around, he wanted to kiss her badly now and tell her the real reasons why her Daddy was after him, hug her and never let her go while he assured her that everything was going to be okay but the fear that she would see him in a different light stopped him.

He felt his heart beat pause for a second as he imagined how scared and horrified she would be if he ever dared to show her his true form.

"Adama! Did you not hear what I just said about Daddy and Momoh trying to settle some score with you?"

She dragged him back to reality.

"Do you know what you might have done to offend them?"

"Did you drive all the way down here just to tell me that? You could had just called"

He chuckled lightly.

"Really!!! Well yes, I did, I know how violent Daddy could be sometimes and I was like really worried."

"Interesting! Well, sorry to burst that bubble Miss, but I have no idea why your Daddy would want me dead."

"Dead? Adamaaaa! ohhh my gosh, dead?"

She covered her mouth with her hands, her face mortified with shock, her eyes glistening with tears, she took two steps forward, her perfume clouded his senses.

He's eyes flickered, he had just slipped it out that her father wanted to kill him.

"That's a very cruel thing to blurt out."

"Cruel? You want to know what's cruel?"

"What?"

"You driving across town, coming to see me and pretending like last night didn't happen."

"Adama this is serious, my Dad could be really mean when he wants to be, I've seen him at his worst." She paused.

"And about last night, that was a mistake, it should have never happened."

"A mistake?"

His knees went numb. His heart melted.

"Yes Adama, if Onu ever found out, it would the break his heart."

"A mistake?"

"Yes"

It felt like air had stopped suddenly stopped moving, he couldn't breathe, only a step further and he would have his lips locked with hers. 'A mistake!'

"Is this a mistake too?"

He took a step forward, she didn't try to move back, the only thing he could hear was the sound of their breaths. Her eyes surrendered to his as they made the goodbye that she had claimed a lie.

He gently grabbed by her neck, she didn't try to resist, his lips twitched with pleasure as they found hers and for a moment the world stopped with their breaths and their lips surrendered to the passions they immensely tried to hide.
